This Privacy Policy and its Addendum(s) (“Policy”) describe how Lintasan Supremasi Sdn Bhd, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, associated companies and jointly controlled entities (collectively “Lapar”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, process and disclose your Personal Data through the use of Lapar’s App and Website (including all mobile applications and websites operated by Lapar (respectively “App” and “Website”), products, features and other services globally (collectively, “Services”).

This Policy applies to our customers, riders and merchant partners (collectively “you”, “your” or “yours”).

“Personal Information” refers to personal data which you have provided to Lapar and any information that can be used to identify you.

2. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?

The types of Personal Data that we collect directly from you when your register with Lapar, when you order food from Lapar or use the website such as but not limited to your name, telephone number, location, email address, NRIC, personal data you enter in messages when you communicate with our Customer Service and information relating to Products and Services that you often use on Our App.

2.1 HOW CAN I REQUEST DATA DELETION?

You can email a data deletion request to support@lapar.my. The request will be escalated to the proper team for evaluation and processing.

However, choosing not to share your Personal Data with us or withdrawing your consent to our use of it could mean that you are unable to make use of the Services. After you have chosen to withdraw your consent, we may be able to continue to process your Personal Data to the extent required or otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

Lapar may use, combine and process your Personal Data for the following purposes (“Purposes”).

3.1 PROVISIONING & ADMINISTRATION ESSENTIAL TO THE OPERATION OF THE SITE OR APP

  • The use of your location for recommending nearby restaurants
  • Use of your personal data in an anonymised fashion for data analytics to help improve our services
  • Enable us to process bills and payments

We do not indulge in sharing your passwords. With the wide use of Internet, Lapar does not guarantee regarding protecting your personal information. While sharing your personal information, you acknowledge that you disclose your personal information to us at your own risk. Feel free to contact us immediately, if you feel your information being misused through our app or website.
